Fund the Trust

What We Do

Fund the Trust engages, educates, and energizes Iowans in support of preserving our natural resources, protecting sources of clean drinking water, and getting outside. We do this by raising awareness about the benefits of fully funding the Natural Resources & Outdoor Recreation Trust Fund. The fund will provide massive benefits to current and future generations of Iowans by improving public health, quality of life, and economic development opportunities.

Representing both individuals and organizations from across our state, Fund the Trust: 

  • Activates Iowans in support of Fund the Trust through a statewide public relations campaign with
    values-based messaging that promotes funding the Trust for every Iowan river to river
  • Builds, broadens, and diversifies our growing coalition by engaging the business community and
    nonprofit partners who share a common goal to make our state a more attractive place to live, work, and play
  • Educates and engages the public on how funding the Trust would impact their local communities
